This collection is a continuation, an evolutionary process of my healing journey, a result of me finding my own inner peace.  The first part of my healing journey was captured in Finding My Voice, A reflection of deep healing.  As my healing continued to grow and change, I became more connected and captured that experience in Finding My Connection, A reflection of soul awakening.  I now sit here today in such deep peace, which still astonishes me as for as long as I can remember, my soul suffered deeply in fear, sadness and utter survival.  
 
My intent has always been to open my heart and soul so that you can too, or at the very least for you to relate and know you are not alone.  I am by no means a poet laureate and this isn’t necessarily my “calling”, but rather pure soul and self-expression.  To understand how significant this is for me, is to understand the world I came from where I had to assimilate and had no room to be myself in any capacity, but especially self-expression and self needs.  This has been a miraculous journey for me and I am so deeply, deeply honored to have shared it with you.
